WHY DOES A RESTAURANT REQUIRE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE MENU?
As we know, people eat first with their eyes. A photograph determines whether a customer will want to order a dish or not. Most people must see photos on the menu to make it easier for them to make a selection.
WHO DOES 2 ORDERS INC. WORK WITH?
We work with clients in the food and beverage industry. Our clients are Restaurants, Diner, Bistro, Bar and Pubs, Bakery, Lounge owners. 2 Orders Inc. does not work with food bloggers or food review companies.
WHAT CAN A RESTAURANT DO WITH FOOD PHOTOGRAPHS?
Photographs can be uploaded to social media, food blogs, restaurant websites, promotions, online food delivery apps, digital menus and advertising campaigns and be used as marketing collateral.
WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT IS USED FOR FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY?
All our professional photographers at 2 Orders Inc., use mirrored (DSLR) Digital Single Reflex and mirrorless cameras. We also use various types of artificial light. However, natural light works the best.
WILL MY SMARTPHONE CAPTURE SIMILAR PHOTOGRAPHS?
No, absolutely not. Smartphones today, come equipped with a great camera no doubt. But, where quality, clarity, detail, resolution and sharpness are concerned, a smartphone does not stand a chance compared to a DSLR (Digital Single Reflex) camera. DSLR and mirrorless cameras also have a bigger lens and a large sensor which gives it a greater advantage over any smartphone in the market.
DOES 2 ORDERS INC PROVIDE VIDEOGRAPHY SERVICES?
As of now we do not provide videography services for our clients.
DOES 2 ORDERS INC PROVIDE DINING ROOM / RESTAURANT PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES?

ARE BACKDROPS AND LIGHT BOXES USED?
2 Orders Inc. does not use backdrops and light boxes to photograph food and beverages. We do use staging props like boards, custom table mats and colored base sheets.
CAN I USE MY OWN PROPS FOR THE PHOTOSHOOT?
Certainly. Please let us know in advance what props you would like to bring so we can prepare better for the photoshoot and construct a detailed plan of execution.
DO ALL PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES COME WITH FOOD STYLING?
No. All packages do not come with food styling unless specified. Our food styling package does come with food styling, also the use of props for this particular package helps create a definite look. Props vary based on the type of cuisine and dish.
WHAT IS FOOD STYLING?
Food styling is the art of arranging food in a specific manner used to attract customers, build appetite and create a fresh vibrant look. Food styling also consists of various props such as real food, replica food and utensils like cutlery, cutting boards, table mats etc. A person who styles food is known as a food stylist.
WILL MY IMAGES BE ALTERED?
Yes, all images are altered but not photoshopped. All images sent to the client are enhanced.
WHAT IS AN ENHANCED IMAGE?
Enhanced images are images where adjustments to color, highlights, shadows and contrast are made. These adjustments are done to make food more vibrant and appealing to the human eye.
WILL THE CLIENT RECEIVE RAW FILES / IMAGES?
No, the client will not receive raw files / images. The client will only receive enhanced images of photoshoot conducted.
WHAT DOES 2 ORDERS INC DO WITH THE CLIENT'S PHOTOGRAPHS?
2 Orders Inc. uploads the enhanced images to the website (www.2orders.ca), to social platforms (Meta - Facebook, Instagram), Pinterest, Google, LinkedIn and Youtube.
DOES 2 ORDERS INC. GIVE CREDIT TO THE RESTAURANT OR TAG ON SOCIAL PLATFORMS?
2 Orders Inc. does not give credit to the restaurant (client) nor tag the restaurant (client) on social platforms (Meta - Facebook, Instagram), Pinterest, Google, LinkedIn and Youtube, or the website (www.2orders.ca) Any credit or tagging provided by 2 Orders Inc. is purely out of goodwill or paid by a client to do so.
WILL MY IMAGES BE USED IN 2 ORDERS INC. PORTFOLIO?
There is no assurance that the images will be used, however, we may use certain or all images in any way that does not require a liability waiver (for example: We can not sell images to third-party companies or stock image websites but we can display the images on our portfolio, our website, our social media accounts and for any promotions or marketing collateral). If you would like a privacy buy-out (extra fee to not have your images displayed anywhere by us) please feel free to reach out.
DO I HAVE TO TAG OR GIVE CREDIT TO 2 ORDERS INC.?
No, you are not required to give 2 Orders Inc. credit or tag us on social media unless there is a set arrangement between 2 Orders Inc. and the client before the photoshoot. A non-profit photoshoot will require the client to tag and give credit to us. All packages grant a license only for the digital use of photos on the restaurant's website and social media account. WILL I BE SIGNING A CONTRACT?
Yes. All photography plans and packages require a legally binding contract created by us. that will be physically or digitally signed by both parties prior to the commencement of the photoshoot. Certain photography packages will require a non-refundable 15% deposit. The contract will entail the following: The Photography Package, Pricing, Scheduled Photoshoot Date, Image File Format Specifications, Post Photoshoot Delivery Dates, Image File Transfer Information and Copyright Information.
WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT TO THE IMAGES?
2 Orders Inc., owns the copyright to all images. We own the exclusive rights to all photos till perpetuity. A full buyout must be executed to use images. Copyright License per package is $500 for perpetuity or $100 per image.
DO I HAVE TO BUY COPYRIGHTS TO THE IMAGES?
Yes. All images/photos intended to be used for any (Revenue Generating Income) such as advertising, promotions and marketing purposes must own a license. Displaying and printing the photos on coupons, brochures, and flyers must buy the copyrights to the images before doing so. Infringement of copyrights will result in legal action taken by our legal team.
WHAT IS IMAGE LICENSING?
Image licensing gives access to a client to use photos commercially for promotions, and advertising campaigns for a limited period. Licensing fee does not involve the transfer of ownership of the image to the client. The photographer (2 Orders Inc.) retains the copyright and remains the owner of the image. The licensing fee grants the client legal permission to use the image according to the terms set in the licensing agreement.
IS THERE AN IMAGE LICENSING FEE?
Yes. An Image License can be purchased separately. The price for an Image License per package is $100 or $20 per image for 90 days only. Any use of the images after the 90 days will result in License infringement which would lead to legal action being taken.
CAN I STILL RECEIVE MY ENHANCED PHOTOS AFTER ONE YEAR OF THE PHOTOSHOOT?
2 Orders Inc. will send all the enhanced images to a client within 7 (seven) business days unless mentioned differently. All enhanced images can be resent to a client twice within 90 days after the photoshoot. After 90 days there may be no guarantee that a client will re-receive the images.
HOW ARE IMAGES SENT TO A CLIENT?
All enhanced images are sent via e-mail. In some cases, we will transfer the images to a USB flash drive or even upload them to Google Drive where a client will have full access for 90 days.

DOES 2 ORDERS INC CHARGE DIFFERENTLY FOR A RESTAURANT FRANCHISE?
Yes, the prices mentioned under plans are solely meant for a restaurant with one location. For franchisee prices, please contact us directly via info@2orders.ca
HOW DOES 2 ORDERS INC TAKE PAYMENT?
We accept payment by certified cheque or electronic transfer only. Payment-related information will be sent by email to the client directly after the photoshoot has concluded. All payments must be made on the day of the photoshoot. Failure to do so will result in the delay of images being sent to the client. We do not accept payment by Cryptocurrency, PayPal or Venmo.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
We at 2 Orders Inc., care about our clients and always put in immense effort to provide you with the best photoshoot. However, after a client has received the final images from a completed photoshoot, it is just not right to provide you with a monetary refund.
All sales are final.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
If you need to cancel an existing photoshoot due to an unforeseen circumstance, please do so by providing us a 48-hour notice by e-mail or by text. Any deposit taken before the photoshoot in this instance will be refunded within three business days. We would then re-schedule the photoshoot for another day at your convenience. Re-scheduling information will be sent directly to the client's e-mail address with a new photoshoot date.
